34F seeking room starting August, w/ small dog

Hi! I am moving to the Gloucester area this August to begin a Master's degree. Seeking a room in a shared or private living situation where I can live with my 25-pound well-behaved female therapy dog (she's 11 years old, her name is Lyra).

I will be doing a masters in Equine Science and am a great lover of animals. I'm also a working musician (folk) so you may hear me singing in my room sometimes. Otherwise, I'm happy to keep to myself or join a casual, community-minded living environment, depending on what the vibe is! I'm a vegetarian and love cooking plant-based meals for myself and others. I'm a gay woman, so LGBTQ-friendly roommates are a necessity.

Other interests include: outdoor time, identifying plants and birds, going on walks and rambles, talking about films, books, and television, and volunteering/organizing mutual aid in my community.

My dog Lyra tends to come along with me a lot of places, so she won't necessarily be a constant presence in the living space. However, she will definitely be alone there sometimes. She's used to staying in my private room, but she always enjoys belly rubs from more friends.

Planning to move sometime around the 3rd week of August.
