A couple, 1 professional +1 cat seeking 2 rooms

Us:
We’re three trans, neurodivergent creatives who are currently based in Coventry, looking to move to Bristol for better working opportunities (particularly within our creative fields), as well as the fun, cool energy that flows throughout Bristol. Two of us (Frank and Leaf) are a couple, so are seeking a shared room, while our third, Winston, is a solo professional. So far, we’ve been looking on the typical property websites for 2-3 bedroom homes, but have found ourselves struggling to find properties that are HMO that also fit within our budget; because of this, we’re pivoting towards looking for house shares and/or community based living.

Frank, 29, they/he:
A punk to his core, Frank is working towards hosting creative community spaces, particularly for the LGBTQ+ community. He’s currently building a collection of stock towards an art business selling his zines, clay creations, pins, prints and more within the regular art markets of Bristol. They love cartoons and niche cinema (with a subscription to Mubi, which is welcome to be shared), along with reading non-fiction, and is a practitioner of witchcraft with a particular love for tarot. They are chronically-ill with CFS and IBS, which impacts their ability to work regularly; because of this, they currently rely on benefits for finance.

Leaf, 26, they/them:
Like a human cat, Leaf’s personality shines best once they’ve had time to acclimate to someone; they enjoy deep conversation and respectful debates. Trained as an engineer, they’ve been struggling to find work in the industry due to AI destroying the job market; they’ve recently redirected their focus towards creative industries, with a particular interest in furniture carpentry and wood-works. They support Frank as a carer on his bad/worst days. They read a lot of fiction and love online gaming, with an interest in starting to livestream.

Winston, 23, he/him:
Avid bug lover who owns two tarantulas (each in terrariums, both non-dangerous to humans, which will stay in the bedroom unless you’re explicitly okay with them displayed in shared spaces). He’s an animator, currently leading an indie project, and hoping to find work within Bristol’s animation industry. He’s super sociable and loves a trip to the pub; if there’s an opportunity to socialise, he’s there. He also practices witchcraft, and in past has dabbled in bug taxidermy.

Nami (cat): Coming up to 13 years old, she’s a fairly docile pet with a gentle nature. She’s quite anxious, so generally keeps to herself, and sleeps for roughly 20 hours a day. She has a scratching post and is well trained to use it; she also enjoys scratching at cardboard boxes, so keep that in mind if you have any at a low level. While she generally doesn’t go to furniture for scratching, we have lavender oil that can be used wherever needed to deter her, and are more than happy to invest in rope to wrap around bannisters if you’d prefer for that area. She has been known to throw tantrums when her carers (Frank & Leaf) are away overnight, but this is less of an issue when the home is shared with others who can comfort her (she’s very comfortable with her uncle Winston).
