Hi! I’m Charlie! I’m a Civil Servant working for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, where I’m doing my bit to help save the bumblebees 🐝 I’m a hybrid worker, so I split my time between the office and working from home.

Outside of work, I love movies, music, gaming, going for walks, and cooking (and I’m always happy to share food). I’m quite social and enjoy going to gigs and being out on weekends. I’m emotionally intelligent, good at reading the room, and very mindful not to intrude or be a nuisance. I’m just as happy keeping to myself, playing video games, or having a quiet night in.

Ideally, I’d love to live with people I can genuinely get along with and hopefully call friends, in a relaxed environment where everyone feels comfortable and no one has to walk on eggshells. I love playing music and bring dancing in the kitchen vibes when I cook, for example.

I should also mention that I may have a cat from time to time in a co-parenting sort of situation with my ex. She’s a beautiful white, fluffy Persian cat, indoor only, very calm, and low maintenance. This is negotiable, but I do love her a lot and wanted to be upfront. She wouldn’t be around a lot, probably 3-4 months through the year and spaced apart, and I’d take care of her.

I’m clean, respectful, reliable with rent and bills, and available to move in as soon as possible. You won’t just get a roommate, but a warm, fun, down-to-earth friend.
