Canadian/Australian couple - Recently moved to Edi

Hi! We are Sarah & Declan, we have just recently moved to Edinburgh from Melbourne and are looking for some more permanent accommodation.
We both work in the environmental space with Sarah being a water engineer and Declan is an ecologist - Sarah already has a job lined up to start late Feb but Declan still looking for work.

Looking for a 1-2 bedroom flat that we can either rent solo or share with one other person/another couple. Main criteria for us is good lighting/big windows, already mostly furnished (ok if not super decorated), a decent kitchen and ideally not ground floor or below street level.

As we are new here would love to live with more communal people and are keen to be friends with our flatmate/s. We have previously lived in a flatshare with one other person who we found through a similar site and it was lovely - he is now one of our good friends even though has been left behind in Australia :(

A bit about us:
- We both enjoy cooking so a decent kitchen is a must
- Like getting out and about (very keen to go on some highlands adventures come spring/summer)
- Like board games/ will probably be having friends over for dinners/games nights fairly regularly and flatmates would of course be welcome to join in
- Both keen to get back into our music playing once we get a bit more settled in and get instruments.
- Declan loves baking and has been getting into sourdough so often will have some on the go and lots of excess that we will need help eating ;)
