Description

Hi everyone,
I'm a 47 yo male, currently living in Bedford in supported accommodation but want to move away from here into a town/city where there is a Cineworld as I spend a lot of time watching films (Milton Keynes, Hemel Hempstead, Rushden or Stevenage are my preferences).

Without sharing too much, I separated from my wife 2 years ago and around the same time I contracted a serious septic infection which has completely changed my life.
As a result, I suffer with Post Sepsic Syndrome which means I am currently not capable of working and so I am relying on UC and PIP.
I'm not proud of this, but I believe these benefits are in place to help support someone like myself in my situation.

Prior to my health issues, I worked in IT Cloud Engineering and had been in full time employment for my whole life, working for some huge organisations (Barclays Capital, BDO LLP, Harrods, Bourne Leisure).

I am a polite, intelligent, well spoken person who wants to live with adults who are clean, tidy, and friendly.
I always clean up after myself and like to leave areas tidy after I have used them.
I love a latte and a crossword puzzle to start the day as this helps to keep my brain active.
My health issues mean I have mobility issues with my left hand and arm, and daily tasks tend to take me longer than a normal person but I have regular physio which is helping me to work around my issues.

I am a Luton Town FC fan (don't hold this against me), I have a Cineworld Unlimited card so I spend a huge amount of my time watching films, I love baking and will always share my creations with my house mates.
Cinema and baking are 2 things that hugely help me with my mental health, which understandably has been affected following my health issues.

I am a happy, positive, respectful person who loves jokes - be prepared for a daily dad joke lol

I have a car through the Motability Scheme and so parking close to the property is important to me - my car is an EV so access to charge at home would be a huge advantage, but not a priority).

As I will be relying on UC to help me with rent, the LHA for shared houses tends to work out around £500 a month, but I can add around £100 to this for the perfect property - so maximum rent of £600.

Ground floor room is preferable, but upstairs is fine as long as stairs are not really steep.

I'd prefer a furnished double room with wardrobe, draws/storage and space to put my TV (so a desk/chair if possible).

I am looking to stay for minimum of 12 months as this will give me time to save up a larger deposit so I can move into my own house/flat.

Drop me a message if you think you have a property that may be suitable.

Thanks alot and look forward to hearing from some of you soon.
