29 years, Male, Sociable and Tidy PhD student

Hi! I’m a 29-year-old PhD student at the School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh. I’m originally from Seoul, South Korea, and moved to Edinburgh about 1.5 years ago for my PhD.

I’d describe myself as easy-going, sociable, and always up for meeting new people. I’m not just looking for flatmates — I’d genuinely love to live with people who could also become good friends. If you’re into spontaneous pub nights, random city adventures, or the occasional slightly chaotic but funny plan… I’m probably in!! (I’m still working on learning how to say no.)

That said, I really value personal space and boundaries too. I think the best flat shares are the ones where everyone feels comfortable and respected.

I’m clean and tidy, and I like keeping shared spaces nice — coming home to a clean flat just hits different. I also started cooking after moving to Edinburgh and surprisingly discovered I’m actually quite good at it. I’d love to cook together sometimes and share food (Korean dishes included!).

I’m ideally looking for a spacious double room not too far from the University of Edinburgh’s George Square campus, as that’s where I’m based. My budget is around £1000 per month.
