Looking for a Long-Term Room in Edinburgh

Hi there! I’m Jamie, a 24 years old from Taiwan. I’ve recently started a two-year journey in the UK under the Youth Mobility Scheme, and I’m excited to begin this chapter in Edinburgh.

I currently work full-time as a teacher at a language school, with a stable income and a regular routine. I’m planning to settle in Edinburgh long-term, so I’m looking for a place I can truly call home. I’m responsible, reliable with rent payments, and I take pride in being a considerate tenant.

Personality-wise, I’m positive, organised, and proactive. I value personal space and a calm, respectful household. I’m very tidy and always make sure shared areas are clean and comfortable for everyone.

Outside of work, I’m quite outdoorsy! I love hiking, exploring new places, and traveling whenever I can. Being close to nature really recharges me. I also enjoy cooking a variety of cuisines from different cultures and am always careful to clean up thoroughly after using the kitchen. While I appreciate a peaceful home, I’m also happy to share occasional chats or meals if everyone feels comfortable.
