Expats exploring Bristol before van life

Hi!

I'm (Mara) moving from Colorado, USA to Bristol in mid-March and am looking for a place to let for 3 months with my girlfriend (Izzy) and 2 cats (Sabre, Épée).

Izzy will only be staying for 6 weeks before flying back to the states. Meanwhile, I'm hoping to move into a camper van with the cats after 3 months to explore around the country.

We are looking for a place that is pet-friendly, comfortable to spend time in, and has parking where I can keep the van as I do work on the inside. Ideally, it is walking distance to a cute cafe or 2 and to public transit for city access.

We're a peaceful, friendly pair looking forward to exploring the city, making new connections, and visiting family in the surrounding region. Generally, we prefer long walks and chatting in the garden over late nights out partying. If living with housemates, we would love to spend time connecting and sharing a meal, at least occasionally. Shared interest in tabletop/board games would be a big plus!

Professionally, I am an aerospace engineer, and Izzy runs her own therapy practice.
