32, iso a double room for end of March/early April

Hi,
I’m Jake, I’m a journalist/podcast producer looking for a room for end of March/early April in De Beauvoir, Angel, Highbury or Newington Green.

I’m 32, American, have been in London for 2 years, since my job moved me from New York, and plan to be here at least a couple more. I’ve lived in Dalston/London Fields the whole time and have loved it, but I’m starting a new job soon that’ll have me in 5 days a week quite early, so I’m looking for a slightly quicker commute to Farringdon/the Barbican area. (I'm unlikely to respond to offers outside the areas listed in the first paragraph.)

At home I’m tidy and generally quiet, though I’m always happy to chat and like to socialize with flatmates (my philosophy is always welcome, never obligated). I like to have friends over for dinner now and then but generally consider home/my room my little sanctuary where I can recharge haha. Outside the house I’m active and like to see friends and take advantage of all London has to offer, though I’m not one to stay out late (apart from a good dance once in a blue moon). I’m also a big climber (proximity to the Castle is also a plus haha) and hiker and try to get out of London with my mountaineering club as much as possible. And of course I watch plenty of TV to relax and love a reality show group watch moment!
