Professional looking for peaceful and tidy home

I am a Postdoctoral Researcher looking for a well-located home in Central London, ideally close to public transport (particularly the Underground). I am seeking a fully furnished property, preferably to share with just one other person. An en-suite bedroom is important to me, along with a desk space where I can work if needed and ample storage for clothes and personal belongings. I would love to have access to a shared living room and, if possible, some outdoor space, though these are not essential. A well-equipped, functional kitchen is important.

I am organised, tidy and value a clean, peaceful home environment. After a full day at work, I appreciate coming back to a calm and quiet space. I would therefore prefer to live with another professional who is considerate, clean, respectful and similarly mindful of shared spaces. I am gluten-free, so sharing with someone who is also gluten-free would be ideal in order to avoid cross-contamination in the kitchen.

I value mutual respect and personal space, while also enjoying occasional shared activities and conversation. I have a strong interest in cultural life — museums, exhibitions, theatre, cinema, ballet and musicals — and I lead an active lifestyle, walking a great deal and going to the gym regularly.

Anyone living with me can expect shared areas to be left clean and tidy, and an overall atmosphere that is harmonious and respectful. I always aim to balance my needs with those of others, and in previous homes I have built genuine friendships with my housemates, which is something I would very much welcome again.
