Looking for a place in Heaton area from July

Hey!

I'm relocating to Newcastle after a few years in Australia and hoping to get a place sorted for my arrival.

I'm after something in the Heaton area, double room with no more than 3 other housemates. Ideally fairly spacious, natural light, garden is a plus (keen on High Heaton for this). I really want to get into growing some veggies, so garden space would be ace. Reasonable walking distance to a big shop is a non-negotiable.

I like home to be a comfortable base to rest, and prioritise my self-care and decompression time! Love to chat to housemates in passing in the kitchen and potentially have house dinners every so often, but I like my own space on a day-to-day basis. I've lived in sharehouses here and in Australia, and I love a house that keeps on top of things like wiping down the kitchen after using, keeping shared spaces pleasant, and just generally looking after the place! Queer-friendly is also essential, I'll be looking to live with either older students (MA/PhD) or young professionals with shared community values.

I'm big on fitness, cooking & music and will be training to be a therapist this year!
