Hello, I'm a 27 year old female game designer from Singapore 🇸🇬

I'm on unpaid sabbatical in the UK until Nov 2026 + trying my luck at jobhunting on my right-to-work UK visa. During this period, I hope to minimise rental costs while expanding my horizons!

What I'm looking for:
- Low cost and low commitment accommodation (≤£300pcm, low/no minimum tenancy)
- Almost anywhere is fine since I'm mainly here for the experience, just ideally accessible within 30min by public transport from a town/city
- Calm and friendly home where we can chat over tea but not necessarily all the time (I do enjoy my own space)
- Nothing else significant. Basic amenities such as wifi for job hunting, some working space for jobhunting, kitchen for cooking will do!

What I can offer:
- I'm curious: I'm the kind who can listen to a life story for 4 hours. I'd love to chat with you, know more about you and get more perspectives about the world!
- I'm creative: I enjoy practically anything to do with making things, from folding origami to building a PC, so I'd be happy to share these activities with you!
- I'm proactive: I often find myself unconsciously picking up tasks to do, like tidying up or making dinner. If you need some help around the house, I'm all hands!
- I'm unoccupied: I'll likely be focusing on jobhunting and enjoying slow life, so I'll likely be at home a lot with loads of spare time. I'll gladly help with things like housesitting or time-consuming tasks!

Things of possible concern:
- Prefer female-only. Else, at least more females than males in the house
- No dietary requirements and don't mind if you have any, but I will cook non-vegetarian meals
- I love cats!! No issues with couples either. But, I'm mildly awkward around children and dogs (nothing against them, I'm just super unsure of what to do around them) (would be happy to have the chance to work on it)
- I have no political/religious views, I'm LGBT+ friendly, happy with all races and ethnicities, so on and so forth. Basically, I'm pretty laidback
