Hi, I’m a working professional looking for a double room or a small property in Leeds or Wakefield

I have lived in Sheffield for the past nine years and now feel ready for a change. I work for a charity that supports young people arounf mental health across South Yorkshire. My main base is in Barnsley. I usually work one day a week there. The rest of the time I work from home or across South Yorkshire.

I plan to travel abroad in May for about five weeks and expect to return in mid-June 2026. I would like to secure a place within the next six weeks so I can move in soon after I return.

My budget is around £550 per month for a room, including bills.

I am looking for a home in a safe area with a good reputation and a calm atmosphere. A quieter and greener neighbourhood would suit me well.

About me as a housemate.

I am respectful of shared spaces and value a peaceful home environment. I keep things clean and organised. I believe good co-living works when people communicate well, respect each other’s privacy, and share basic responsibilities around the home.

I enjoy a balanced lifestyle. I like walks in nature, the gym, good conversations, and occasionally watching a film or sharing a meal. At the same time, I appreciate everyone having their own space.

I am open to living with males or females of any age. Ideally the household would have NO MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE so the space feels calm and manageable.
