Single, Double Room or Annex wanted

I am looking for a single or double room, or annex around Totnes, Dartington, and the surrounding areas like Staverton, Little Hempston, Haberton, Berry Pomeroy, Tigley, Rattery, Buckfastleigh, etc.

I am a research professional working on international research projects, alongside undertaking a period of learning with local agro-ecology / agro-forestry and community organisations.

This means I will be out in the day around the area for part of the week, and at other times I will need to be at home working on my computer, writing and engaged in online meetings. I also need to travel up to London from time to time for meetings, so I will be away for short periods.

In the first instance, I am looking for accommodation for Spring and Summer 2026, potentially staying until the end of the year.

My ideal household is friendly, clean and considerate: open to social interaction, but also attentive to each other's personal space.

It would be a bonus to live with like-minded people interested in the environment, social and community transition processes, and positive changemaking in general.

My ideal household will have no more than two housemates in addition to myself.

My maximum budget is £600 including bills.
I have experience of living with others and can provide good references.
