Postgrad students seeking September move-in

Hi there! We are Mary and Tigerlily, and we are beginning as postgraduate students in London in September. We're both headed to London from the US, and we're looking to get a head start in securing our accommodation.

What we are looking for:
Budget: ~£900 per month (each)
Location: North London, ideally in the Islington/Fizrovia/Camden areas, but open to being anywhere with easy access to the Victoria, Northern, Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan lines.
Move-in: September 2026 (need 12-month lease)
Looking for furnished and PET FRIENDLY accommodation.

Open to rooms in existing flatshares, entire flats/houses, or buddying up with others. We would love to live with other students or young professionals. We will be clean and respectful flatmates!

About us:

Tigerlily (she/her, 26 by move-in) is a dual British and American citizen. She will be studying Transport and City Planning at UCL, and she got her Bachelor's in politics. In her free time, she loves being creative (enjoying photography and collaging the most at the moment), working out, and just being outside and people-watching!

Mary (she/her, 24 by move-in) is heading to London for a MA in the History of Art. She currently works in museum education and enjoys painting, reading, and photography. She is looking forward to exploring London's coffee shops, museums, and galleries, and is excitedly planning day trips to nearby towns and historic sites!

Once Mary is settled and her routine is established (probably a month or two into the lease), she'll be joined by / reunited with Zelda.

Zelda (3.6 kg, 2 years old) is a small, non-shedding Cavapoo who enjoys chickpeas, outings (either walking or being carried in a tote bag), and cuddling. She'll probably love London and will definitely love new friends.
