Quiet RCA researcher seeking room (May–July)

Hello,

I’m looking for a quiet room or small studio in west / south-west London from May to July while working with the Royal College of Art at the White City and Kensington campuses.

I used to live in London some years ago, but in recent years I’ve mostly lived in the countryside and currently I’m based in Switzerland, so I’m hoping to find somewhere calmer and greener rather than very central and busy. Areas like Barnes, Putney, Richmond, Twickenham, Kingston, Wandsworth, Battersea, Clapham or Fulham would be ideal, especially within cycling distance of White City.

A little about me: I’m originally trained as a medical biotechnologist and now a postgraduate researcher/designer at the Royal College of Art (MA Information Experience Design). I’ll be in London working on my research project and preparing an exhibition during this time. I’m quiet, tidy and very respectful of shared homes.

I would be happy either with a self-contained studio or a room in a calm household. A top-floor room or space with some privacy would be especially nice.
