Hello! I'm Cassie. I'm a 25 year old (F) from the United States who will be moving to London in the fall to begin my PhD in neuroscience at UCL. I'm looking for a single or double room with a budget around £1,450pcm.
A little bit about me: I currently live in Washington, D. C. where I'm finishing up my research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Outside of research, I love being outside, watching movies, traveling, playing tennis, thrifting, and baking. I have a 5 year old cat named Farrah whom I adore, and she is extremely clean, social, sweet, cuddly, and cute (she's also very quiet). I'm very extroverted, and I love exploring new restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, etc. I'm super excited to move to London, and I can't wait to explore the city (and get out of the wretched country I currently live in)!
As a roommate, I'm a very clean and organized person, and cleaning is a way that I de-stress. I'm pretty type-B and community-driven, so I love helping out my roommates whenever possible. I would love to cultivate a chill and comfortable living situation, where we feel welcome to hang out in the common spaces or cook dinner together, but also have our alone time if necessary. I'm a respectful and caring, and I love both an odd night out or a cozy night in.
