Seeking mindful houseshare in S/SW London

I'm Yvonne, 36, Australian, software engineer — ten years in London and not going anywhere.

I'm looking for a houseshare in South or South-West London, ideally near a park, with street parking nearby for the one day a week I drive to our West.

But honestly, the house is secondary. What I'm really looking for is the right people.

I want a home that feels genuinely cared for — where people take quiet pride in a clean, tidy, beautiful shared space. This matters to me more than I can overstate. I find clutter and disorder hard to relax around, and I've learned the hard way that misaligned values here make everyone unhappy. I'm not looking for perfection, just people who feel the same way.

What I'm hoping for in housemates: people who are social, warm, open-minded, and feminist-minded. Who have full lives and their own interests but see home as somewhere they actually want to be. Who'd enjoy a shared meal, a spontaneous drink, a walk, a conversation at the end of the day — a witness to each other's lives and our shared experience.

I love animals and would be genuinely happy to share a home with a well-behaved pet or two. I have experience as a live-in pet sitter and have a soft spot for a dog on the kitchen floor.
