Hiya! I'm Penny! I'm 26 y/o, I currently live in Clapham but looking to move north of the river for better connections to work + friends :)
I work for a small climate tech investment fund in Trafalgar Square in their investment team; I typically work 8.30-6pm 5 days a week in the office. I have lived in the UK for 1.5 years now; I originally moved from New Zealand for a masters degree 😊
I'm not a massive partier but I am very social + extraverted and most weekends will have plans to visit somewhere in London/see friends in north London/get coffee somewhere local! I'm hoping to be part of a flat where people can chat in the living room in the evenings and have flat socials like dinners or drinks, while having our own lives and respecting each other's space!
I also treat my home as a place to unwind - my hobbies include running (currently training for a half marathon... eek!), cooking, baking, reading, knitting (I have an overly ambitious cardigan on the go at the moment) - so I do try fit these in to my weekend as well :) I really value having a clean, calm and positive environment so I'm an active member of keeping the house clean and nice to live in (I'm an engineer by training so have been known to take the hard tasks like unblocking shower drains when needed!!)
Very happy to slot into whatever routines the flat has for cleaning/cooking - I've done all variations across my 8 years of shared living so whatever works for you is easy :) very happy to come to viewings after 7pm on weekdays or anytime on weekends!
