Single professional looking for en-suite room

Hi

I live in Southampton but my work at a national charity requires regular travel to Birmingham, so I thought I’d look for a room somewhere commutable to the city centre, rather than relying on hotels! I’m looking for somewhere Monday to Friday as I’d be going home for the weekend. Although, if a room is available all week I wouldn’t rule it out.

I’m a quiet, respectful person and have rented rooms in the past. I’d like to live with professionals, family or fellow professional house-sharers. Living with students or party people wouldn’t work for me unfortunately!

I own a small car and allocated parking would be ideal. I do also own a large campervan at home but don’t expect to be able to park that! It would be a nice bonus though.
