Looking for someone to buddy up with

Hi! I'm a 44 year old solo female and I’m looking for a like-minded person to team up with and find a lovely two-bed flat in Brighton this June.

A bit about me: I’m self-employed and work in the wellness/healing space. I’m quite focused on my work, but I also love staying active — gym, cycling, yoga, roller skating — and getting out to enjoy life. That said, home is my sanctuary. I really value a calm, peaceful, and safe environment with good energy and communication.

I live with my indoor cat, Bella, so it’s really important that you’re a cat lover — but ideally don’t have pets of your own, as I don’t want to mix animals. I’m also sober, so I’m looking for someone who isn’t a big drinker and doesn’t smoke. I enjoy socialising and music, but I prefer to keep the home space relaxed rather than a party environment.

I’d love to live with someone who is:

* A professional (or similarly structured lifestyle)
* Clean, tidy, and takes pride in creating a beautiful home
* Ideally female or non-binary, and LGBTQ+ friendly (I’m an ally)
* More on the independent side — happy to share space and occasionally hang out, but also values their own time
* Child-free and not bringing partners home very frequently
* Into a balanced, healthy lifestyle and maybe in a similar “next chapter” phase of life

In terms of the flat, I’m looking around Kemp Town or the Marina area — somewhere near the sea would be ideal. Budget is around £800 each (up to ~£1,000 including bills). I’d prefer somewhere above ground floor (no basements), ideally second floor or higher.
