10+ Yrs Corporate → MSc Candidate Needs Room

I'm a 32 year old professional moving to Glasgow from Denver, Colorado, USA this August to pursue an MSc in Digital Marketing Management at The University of Strathclyde.

I'm searching for a full home, or a bedroom in a home, for myself, my dog (Hazel, 11 years old, Australian Shepherd) and my cat (Kitten, 6 years old, tuxedo)-- I know having pets is a huge roadblock, but they are quite literally my only family so I am desperate to keep them with me.

I have 10+ years of spotless rental history with references available upon request. My pets and I have been living in the same home for the last 3 years and we have a wonderful relationship with our landlord. I also have a monthly budget of £1,250!

I received my undergraduate degree in 2015 and have been working professionally since then. After saving for this dream of mine, the time has finally come where everything is falling into place. My plan is to be in Glasgow for at least the next three years (hopefully longer), so I'd love to find somewhere I can set roots down and begin to establish community.

I'm very clean, organised, and independent, and I also love making new friends, socialising, and having a night out when my schedule will let me. I love cooking for myself and my friends, reading, attending the theatre and concerts, visiting museums and historical sites, going for hikes, travelling to new cities, trying on new hobbies for size, and staying active locally.

Classes begin in mid-September, so I would love to move in around early-to-mid August to get settled at home and in my neighborhood before I need to find a classroom and learn how to function as a student again.

I'll also be working with a local business part-time once the semester begins, so I do have a job lined up and ready to go.
