My name is Sophie, and I’m 36 years old from South Korea. I arrived in the UK on 31 March on a Youth Mobility Scheme visa.

Back in Korea, I worked as a knitwear designer and have around 10 years of experience in fashion. I’m also continuing some freelance work from Korea while I’m in the UK, and after finishing my language course, I hope to look for work here as well.

I’m a positive, sociable, and peaceful person. In my free time, I enjoy listening to band music, watching films, and collecting little things. 😉

Although I haven’t lived in a shared house abroad before, I have lived with different roommates for several years in Korea, so I’m very used to shared living and being considerate of others. I’m respectful, tidy, and easy to live with.

I’ll be attending a language school in the Camden area for the next three months, and I’m currently staying in temporary accommodation. My planned move-in date is 18 April, and ideally I’m looking to stay for around 6 to 12 months.
