Your new housemate?

Hey!

I'm a 37 year old Senior Project Manager working for a property consultancy in Central Manchester and I'm looking for a new place to live that's close to work.

ABOUT ME
I'll try and give you a decent picture of who I am but feel free to reach out and ask if there's anything you'd like to know.

I'm very focused on my career and outside of work I love going to the gym. I train most days so eating well, sleeping enough and generally looking after myself is important to me.

At the weekends I like to be out and about as much as possible. I don't drink but love to socialise and meet new people.

In my downtime I generally play Xbox or watch YouTube/ Netflix and love to cook.

I love to travel and have spent a lot of time abroad. I've lived and worked in Saudi and have been to Nigeria and Russia. I lived in Sweden for a while when I was younger and used to be fluent in Swedish. Id like to visit central and South America next.

I went to uni as a mature student and worked as everything from a labourer to a dishwasher before that.

I'm very down to earth, open minded and accepting. Im a positive person who laughs a lot and has a lot of energy.

THE HOUSEMATE IM LOOKING FOR
My most basic requirement is that I live with someone who keeps communal areas tidy and will do their share of cleaning. I can't live somewhere that's dirty.

Im not concerned with the type of human you like to have sex with, the kinds of relationships you have, how you make your money or your chosen lifestyle.

I like open minded, considerate and non judgemental people.

Im often drawn to people who are different, eccentric or quirky. I like people who have passions, goals and interests and that don't take themselves too seriously.

THE PLACE IM LOOKING FOR
I'd like to live with a live in landlord as Ive found shared houses owned by agents aren't respected by the people living there. I want a home that is a home.

Im getting rid of my car so need to be able to easily get a bus or train to central Manchester. I also need a place that's reasonably close to a decent sized gym and supermarket.

I'm happy in a house or apartment but if I'm in a high rise then I need to be able to open a window or balcony door for fresh air.

I need at least a double bed and ideally a room big enough to spend time in so we can give each other space when it's appropriate. Be good if I could fit a desk in my room too.

There needs to be a decent shower, a washing machine, decent internet, microwave and airfryer (or space for me to put a microwave or airfryer).

A balcony or outside space would be a bonus as would an ensuite bathroom, though these aren't deal breakers.
