Short-term furnished room in friendly home

Hi there,
I’m Anne, 38yrs old soon, a researcher from Germany. I’m about to stay in Cornwall as visiting researcher at the Falmouth campus. I speak English fluently and well, no worries about that :)
I like the outdoors and got to know this part of Cornwall during a research stay last year - lovely! I’m friendly, vegetarian and my party-life is over;) I’ll be at the university most days of the week, working there. At weekends, I may go for the occasional hiking trip further away to explore more of the country.
I am looking for a furnished room in a friendly flat or house - with a family, a couple, among friends or an individual. Non-smoking preferred. I’m pretty good with animals so happy about them, too :)
I start my research stay at 1st of September, so any stay +/- one to five days is great! I’m looking for something until mid October, 6.5 weeks in total approx.
