Description
Please note: I’m not looking to join a large house share. I’m specifically hoping to team up with 1–2 people to rent an entire flat together.
Hey! 😄 My name is Gagandip and I’m currently looking to buddy up with another person or two, to find an entire flat to rent and turn it into a great living place together. I’m ideally looking around London Bridge/Bermondsey, but I'm flexible. Anywhere within a 30 minute commute or ~15 minutes by bike. Zone 1–2 generally works well, with Canary Wharf also being a suitable option.
My budget is around £800/month, and the goal is to combine budgets to secure a higher quality place and better overall value than renting individually.
I work full-time in the art/fashion industry, usually 5–6 days a week, and tend to spend my evenings at the gym. I keep a fairly structured routine, so during most weekdays you’ll likely have the flat to yourself for a good portion of the day and plenty of space and privacy.
I’m clean, organised, and respectful of shared spaces and place a lot of value on health - eating well, staying active, and getting good sleep, so I’d naturally get along best with someone who’s mindful of it follows a similar kind of lifestyle.
I don't personally smoke or drink, but am okay if my flatmates drink, or if you smoke, I’d just prefer it to be outside and away from the living space. (this includes vaping - no matter how good your cotton candy vape might smell 😅)
I do cook all my own meals and meal prep for the week (which includes meat), but I’m tidy about it - everything is cleaned up afterwards and stored neatly into containers to minimise space used. And occasionally there are some leftovers, which I will usually offer to share 😋
Personality wise, I’m very easy going and considerate. I take genuine care and interest in those around me and am always happy to chat or help out so that we have a friendly, relaxed atmosphere at home. Equally, I respect personal space and quiet time if that’s what you prefer.
I’m ideally looking for people who are also easy to live with, clean, and respectful, and who are open to a longer term arrangement (1+ years), as I’d like somewhere stable to settle.
I’ve already identified a few potential properties, so if this sounds like a good fit, feel free to reach out I’d be happy to share options or meet for a coffee to see how we get along.
