Seeking Short Term End of Summer Room in London

Hey! My name’s Billie (she/they) and I’m 29. I’m a musician and sound engineer, currently based in Devon and looking to move to London from July, as more of my work and creative projects are becoming centred there. Open to a short-term let room or a sublet to start, just to get an idea of where I want to be based before moving all my stuff up with me.

I mainly work remotely as a mixing engineer, which means I spend my time working quietly on headphones during the day in my room. For anything louder (like checking mixes at volume), I would use an external studio space,. ’m mindful of keeping noise levels considerate at home. I also do freelance assistant engineering work in studios across London, as well as in Devon at Middle Farm studios. There will be times when I am working out of the house as well as away for 3-5 days for a Devon recording session.

I’ve been living in shared houses for around 10 years, and it’s something I really value. I love the sense of community that comes with it, while also appreciating the need for each other’s personal routines and space.
I’m very clean, tidy, and respectful. I take care of the spaces I live in. I’m naturally quite grounded and independent, but I also love shared hangout moments with the people I live with. I enjoy cooking shared meals.

I enjoy my own space to recharge, but I also really need a good amount of connection from socialising. I’m intentionally trying to step out of my comfort zone a bit more, and I’m excited to spend time going to live music, exploring the parks/nature in the city, and making new friends while I’m in London.
