Hi,

My name is Inès, I’m 26, French, and currently living and working in Paris in finance. I’ll be moving to London for a position in a bank in the City, and I’ll be in London in July to visit flats. Ideally, I’d be looking to move in between late August and early September.

I’m currently looking for a flatshare (En(suite) in a well-located and welcoming area, ideally with good connections. I’m particularly interested in areas like Hoxton, Haggerston, De Beauvoir Town, Bethnal Green, and Shoreditch. As I’m new to London, these neighbourhoods seem like great places to live while staying close to my workplace. I usually commute by bike, so I’m aiming to be within around a 20 minute ride from my workplace.

It’s important for me to live with people who are LGBT-friendly (I’m an ally), and who share similar values. I also personally support Palestine, and while this isn’t something I necessarily bring into everyday conversations, I do value living with people who are on the same page in terms of openness and mindset.

A bit about me: I’m sociable and enjoy going out for drinks from time to time, but I also appreciate a calm and balanced routine during the week. I usually don’t come home late on weekdays, though it can happen occasionally on weekends. I work remotely two days a week and I’m happy working either from my room or from shared spaces when available.

I enjoy cooking, although with my schedule I tend to cook a couple of times a week and prepare meals in advance. I’m also quite organized and really value a clean and tidy home, for me, it’s essential to feel comfortable and relaxed in my space.

I like having a friendly relationship with flatmates, sharing some moments together, while also respecting each other’s need for personal time , I think that balance is key to a great flatshare.
