Professional seeking short term accommodation

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a flight attendant with a major airline. I am seeking a furnished room with easy access to Heathrow airport (1 hour or less on public transport preferred). I would prefer short term for a rental but am open to a longer stay if it is agreed upon that it’s a great fit. I have been to London many times for work but am not very familiar with the non-touristy areas so I would love to use this time to discover areas I like and possibly seek out my own accommodation after 4-6 months.
