Hi everyone!
Let me introduce myself first. I’m half-Brazilian, half-Italian, live alone in Hove, and my English isn't very good (actually, it’s terrible 🫠. That might make me a bit shy and mean I don't have many friends here yet, but people say I’m nice :)).
After a long career in law, I changed paths and got into the culinary world. I currently work full-time as a pastry chef near Oxford Circus in London. Since my shifts usually end at 1 AM on weekends, I don't get home before 4 AM, and that’s becoming really tough for me.
As I mentioned, I work pretty much every weekend from 2 PM onwards and don't leave until 12:30 AM or 1:30 AM (in other words, I get home late, so there will inevitably be some noise in the kitchen or bathroom).
I’m quite sociable but value my privacy; I prefer staying home to going out to parties or clubs. When I’m not working, I’m usually in my room doing chores, testing new dessert recipes, or at the gym.
I’m very loyal to my friends and keep my home tidy and organized. I enjoy traveling, music, and having friends over for dinner (though I do go out for meals occasionally, too). I also try to be there for my friends whenever they need support.
I furnished my current apartment, and since I haven't found a new place to rent yet, I’ll need to put all my furniture and belongings into storage while I decide what to do—whether to rent a new apartment or find the right person to flat-share with.
My initial plan was to rent a studio or share an apartment with a large bedroom—ideally with an en-suite bathroom—in Zone 1 or 2, with easy Tube access, sharing with another professional. However, I have to admit that the idea of sharing is starting to appeal to me more, given how much time I spend alone here.
I’m looking for a space that is organized, clean, bright, and quiet; preferably unfurnished. And preferably with just one or two other people, at most (I don't think I'm ready yet to share a house with 4, 5, or 6 bedrooms) :)
Oh, and I'm gay, in case that matters.
A bonus: I can make a chocolate fondant for you. 😎
