Room or Flat needed from July 1st

Hi there, I hope you are doing well.

My boyfriend (26m) and I (26f) are looking for a room/flat to rent from July 1st.

We are both 26 years old and mature, responsible professionals originally from Germany. I completed both my BSc and MSc in Marine Biology here in Scotland and currently work full-time (9–5, with occasional weekends) in sustainable aquaculture in Guardbridge. Alongside this, I volunteer as a bird ringer and as a marine mammal medic/observer, so I would probably be out of the house a lot.

My boyfriend is currently finishing his Master’s thesis in Sustainable Development and will be starting his first graduate role after the summer.

In our free time, we both enjoy hiking, rock climbing, and cooking good food. I also enjoy sea swimming and surfing when the weather allows. Our evenings are usually quite relaxed—cooking dinner, going for a walk, or watching Netflix. While we occasionally go out for a drink, we are not big on partying. We would likely attend the sports centre in St. Andrews /Dundee for climbing once or twice a week.

We both have extensive experience in flat shares and are respectful, tidy, and considerate housemates. I am currently gaining work experience before applying for a PhD. Thus, we are ideally looking for 12+ months, however we would also consider shorter stays.
