About Me

I’m moving to Loughborough for a full‑time, permanent civil service role in August 2026. My job is home‑based 2–3 days a week, with some light telephony work (nothing noisy). I already have my own desk and chair, so I’m set up for working from home.

I’m outgoing, sociable, and easy‑going, but I also really value privacy and a peaceful home environment—for myself and for the people I live with. I enjoy the occasional film night or board game evening, though it’s by no means essential. I’m LGBTQ+ friendly and pet friendly.

I do eat meat, so a strictly vegan household might not be the best fit, though I genuinely don’t mind what anyone else eats.

I can provide references from my current long‑term lodging arrangement (seven years with the same family). I’m planning to buy in the local area within the next 12 months, so I’m looking for somewhere stable in the meantime.

What I’m Looking For

Ideally, I’d prefer a place with a live‑in landlord or a small, stable household rather than a large HMO. I’m also open to renting a whole furnished property if the price is right—happy to discuss budget.
