Canadian veterinarian seeking friendly flatshare

Hi! I’m Ashley, a Canadian veterinarian moving to London in August for work. I’ll be working at a veterinary hospital in Shoreditch, so I’m looking for a room with a reasonable commute, ideally in a friendly, creative, professional area.

I’m hoping to find somewhere that feels like a real home rather than just a room to rent. I’d love to live with people who are friendly, kind, clean, and respectful. Ideally, the kind of house where people are happy to chat in the kitchen, share the occasional dinner or glass of wine, go for coffee, or explore London together, while still respecting each other’s space and downtime.

A bit about me: I love animals, cafés, good food, writing, science/medicine, creative neighbourhoods, markets, museums, cosy pubs, and trying new restaurants. I’m social and excited to make new friends in London, but I’m also independent and very respectful of shared spaces.

I’m clean, considerate, reliable with rent, and used to living with others. I’m not looking for a party house, but I’d really love a warm, welcoming home with a bit of community.

Budget: ideally £800–£1,000/month including bills, but I can be flexible for the right place.

Move-in: August, though I may be open to paying earlier to secure the right room.

Preferred areas: Shoreditch, Hoxton, Haggerston, Dalston, Hackney, London Fields, Islington/Angel, Kentish Town, Finsbury Park, or anywhere with a good commute to Shoreditch.
