Tidy, sociable professional looking for new home

Hi, I'm Ann! I'm a 27-year-old German-born professional who's been happily based in Edinburgh for the past six years, long enough to feel very much at home here. I'm planning to move because my live-in landlord is relocating for work, so I'm looking for a new place to settle into properly.

I work full-time at a media agency in central Edinburgh, mostly in the office (at least three days a week). I do occasionally work from home, though that's something I'm happy to discuss depending on the setup. During the week I tend to keep a fairly steady rhythm, and at weekends you'll find me exploring local cafes, reading, attempting to knit (still a work in progress), practising yoga, and eating my way through Edinburgh's food scene. I also teach German to bilingual kids at a Saturday school most term weekends, which keeps me nicely busy.

I'm sociable and genuinely enjoy a chat, a shared dinner, or the occasional activity together, but I equally love a quiet night in, so I'm not someone who needs constant company. I don't smoke, I drink very occasionally, and I do not party. When I do have friends over, it's very low-key, such as a dinner or an evening catch-up. My younger brother or cousins visit once or twice a year (one at a time) and might stay for a few days, but that's about it.

I'm someone who really values a clean and tidy home and takes good care of shared spaces. I'd love to find somewhere where that's mutual.

What I'm looking for
I'm after a long-term place, ideally in one of Edinburgh's south-side or villagey neighbourhoods: Marchmont, Morningside, Tollcross, Polwarth, the Meadows area, Newington, Blackford, or The Grange. Alternatively, Stockbridge, Abbeyhill, Cannonmills, Comely Bank, Corstorphine, Trinity, or Portobello.

I don't have any pets, but I'm very happy in a home with dogs or gentle cats.

My budget is up to £1,100 per month (bills inclusive, if possible, but happy to discuss), and I'd be looking to move in from mid-June.
