Looking for a room/housemates in Brighton & Hove!

Hi, I’m Hugo (any pronouns) and I’m starting a new job in West Sussex in July as a town planner. I am looking to either move into a room in an existing household or find housemates for a new household in Brighton & Hove.

I’m a 23 yo queer person currently living in Ireland, (but I am originally from England) and moving back to England for this new job. The job requires me to work in the office 2 days a week and then WFH 3 days a week, but I am relatively flexible about what hours I work, although I generally tend to stick to a schedule where I can.

Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and going on day trips as well as exploring urban design. I am also currently learning Spanish and also to become a bell ringer. I love going on nights out and pub trips, so living in a sociable house would be ideal for me, especially as I get to know the city. I’m also into many sports (Ice Hockey, Cycling, Football and Snooker are my favourites) and I always am looking to try new ones out (either to play or as a spectator!)

In terms of an ideal household - I would prefer to have a room that has space for a desk, but I am also happy to work in a communal area if needs be. I would also prefer to live in households with many people in it, but I am open to living in smaller households too if needs be. I would also like to live within 3km of a train station, with Brighton being my main preference.

I am open to living with anyone, but I would prefer to be with people in their 20s and other LGBTQIA+ people. I don’t smoke, however I am ok with living with smokers on the basis that they don’t smoke indoors regularly.
