Young tech professional looking for a home

Hi!

My name is Alya and I’m moving from California to London for work. I’ll be working at a tech company in Kings Cross and am looking for a place not too far from there :)

I am clean and quiet, friendly and mindful of other people’s space and boundaries. Being new to London I’d love to have an amicable relationship with my roommate. I do like to be organized and keep shared spaces tidy and have kept a rotational cleaning schedule with my former roommates, which I believe helped a lot.

I am looking for a 2 bedroom and 2 bathrooms apartment in these areas: are Angel/Islington, Camden, Colindale, Elephant and Castle, Finchley, Hampstead/St John’s Wood, Kilburn, Shoreditch, Stratford and Tottenham Hale.

My budget is £2000 but I’d love to pay less if the place suits my need. I prioritize safety (of the area and community/building) and proximity to public transportation, but also cleanness of the premises. My ideal floor plan would have the two bedrooms on opposite sides of the flat because I like my privacy.

Move in date is flexible and can go up to beginning of August.

I like to read, bake, hike, go to the gym, outdoor activities and trying new things (food, activities, etc.).
