Researcher looking for a room from Aug to Nov

Hi! My name's Cauê (I'll bet this is the first time you've ever read that name 😄). It's pronounced "cow-EH", and don't worry, you'll get it eventually. I'm 22, an engineering student, and I'm heading to Manchester as a visiting researcher at Alliance Manchester Business School from August to November.

Quick reassurance on the practical stuff: my whole stay is funded by a Brazilian research grant (FAPESP), so rent is never going to be a drama, and I'm happy to sort proof of funds and references whenever you need them.

A bit about me: I'm an easy-going sort and I've shared flats before. Heads up: the Brazilian stereotype about loving cleanliness? Guilty as charged.
I'll be out most of the time anyway, at uni, studying, exploring the city and making the most of Manchester's pubs in the evenings. Beyond that, I love cooking, a social drink, films and series, getting lost in good long conversations, and hitting the gym.

What I'm looking for: somewhere I can feel at home, have my own privacy, and where the communal areas are kept nice and tidy. Ideally my flatmate(s) would be genuinely up for socialising: pub trips, the odd house party, and meeting new people. My budget is around £700–£1,000 per month, preferably bills included, though there's room to talk if something's a bit outside that.

I know the timing and the length of my stay (≈4 months) aren't the easiest ask, so I'm very open to negotiating!!!
