Description
25 year old quant at a high frequency trading firm on Liverpool Street. Coordinating a 2-4 person house share (buddy-up) in a nice neighbourhood not more than a 30 minute commute away, with a £1.3k - £2k per person budget.
Areas I am targeting:
Marylebone, Shoreditch, Hackney, Islington, Clerkenwell, Fitzrovia, Finsbury, Chelsea, but open to recommendations for other nice areas with easy access to the city centre! I already have a list of properties I'm looking at.
A bit about me:
I speak English, French, Russian and some Spanish/Japanese and like meeting people from all over the world. I lived in the USA and Ireland before but mostly in south England, with 4 years in London while studying at Imperial College.
I never work from home, and in my free time I either travel or look for the best restaurants & wine bars; play tennis, football or go bouldering; or attend the opera or a classical music concert - flatmates are always welcome to come along. I have 5 years shared living experience and value kitchen/fridge/bathroom hygiene. I lived with various kinds of people, some more social, some less, so I am open to most profiles - but no smokers please!
Annoying things about living with me:
- If you sound over or under confident about something I will try to make you bet on it. Just tell me to stop.
- I talk about everything in terms of probability.
- I can return from work after 7pm sometimes, but not midnight or anything.
Less annoying things about living with me:
- I have lived in London for 4 years and can advise on how to get around.
- I do my own things, whether that's gastronomy, sport, classical concerts, ballroom dance or travel, but I am always happy for others to tag along and I'll show you the best spots.
- I enjoy cooking for others sometimes (mostly French, Spanish leaning). I don't expect anything in return.
- I keep the kitchen and fridges clean and organised and I have professional culinary experience.
The ideal flatmate:
- Ideally 20s to early 30s
- Tidy and responsible
- Ambitious and positive-minded
- Doesn't regularly come home drunk at ungodly hours
Other than that it's good to be genuine and not feel the need to suppress one's personality around others.
If that all sounds good, don't hesitate to reach out.
