MD/PhD seeking room in London

Hi, my name is Eric. I'm a 33-year-old medical doctor from the Netherlands, working as an ophthalmology resident and postdoctoral researcher in Rotterdam.

From September to November 2026, I will be in London for a temporary academic research stay at Moorfields Eye Hospital and University College London. I am looking for a clean, quiet and well-located room or studio from 31 August to 30 November 2026, with the possibility of extending until around 13 December.

I am tidy, respectful, non-smoking and used to sharing a home. I work long days and value a calm, clean and considerate living environment.

Ideally, I am looking for a place in Zone 1 or nearby Zone 2, especially around Holborn, Clerkenwell, Farringdon, Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia, Marylebone, Paddington, Kensington, South Kensington, Chelsea, Pimlico. A desk or space to work from home would be very helpful.

I can provide references and proof of employment or funding if needed. As I am currently based in Rotterdam, I would be very happy to arrange a video call first.
