Music Student Looking for a Room in Brighton

Hi! My name is Aki, I’m a 19-year-old student from Germany and I’ll be starting the Popular Music Performance (Vocals) & Songwriting course at BIMM Brighton in September 2026.
Music is a huge part of my life. I love singing, writing songs, and playing a bit of guitar, so I’m hoping to find a place with people who enjoy music and won’t mind hearing me practice from time to time. It would be great to live with other creative or music-minded people, but that’s not essential.
Outside of music, I enjoy spending time with my dog, cooking, skateboarding, concerts, musicals, and meeting new people. I’m a friendly, open-minded, and easy-going person who enjoys both socialising and having quiet time to relax in my room. I’m also vegetarian, genderfluid, and pansexual, so I’d love to live in an open-minded and LGBTQ+ friendly household where everyone feels comfortable being themselves.
I’ll be moving to Brighton around 1 September 2026. My dog won’t be joining me immediately, as I’d like to settle in first before bringing her over. She is incredibly friendly, well-behaved, very cuddly and gets along with people and animals of all kinds. A garden would be a lovely bonus for her, but it’s definitely not a requirement.
One important thing: I have a cat allergy, so a cat-free home would be best.
