24F moving to SW London in August

Hi everyone, I’m 24 and moving over from Ireland in August after accepting a teaching job in Wimbledon starting in September.

I’m looking for a room or a group to buddy up with in SW London, ideally around Balham, Tooting, Earlsfield, Southfields, Clapham or Wandsworth, but I’m open to other areas with a good commute.

I’d love to find a friendly and sociable house share where people get on well and are up for the occasional coffee, pub trip, walk or exploring London together, while still respecting each other’s space and having their own lives.

A bit about me: I’m a secondary school teacher, tidy, easy-going and moving over on my own, so finding a house that feels like a home is important to me. Outside of work I enjoy getting out for walks, trying new cafés, travelling when I can and spending time with friends.

My budget is around £800–£1,000, but I can be flexible for the right place. I’d ideally move in during August, although I could be flexible on dates if needed.
