Looking for a spare room or buddy up near Cardiff

Hi, I'm Chloe, I'm an 18-year-old starting a Site Management Degree Apprenticeship in the construction industry this September, and I'm looking for a room in East Cardiff (ideally around St Mellons) or Newport.

A bit about me:

- Relaxed, loyal, tidy, and easy-going
- Starting a degree apprenticeship in September, combining full-time employment with my studies
- Working a Monday-Friday, 8-5 schedule, mainly on-site or in the office
- Enjoy going to the gym, playing field hockey, reading, trying new cafés, cooking, and spending time with friends
- Sociable and always up for a chat, shared meal, or a trip to the pub, café, or local event, but equally respectful of personal space and downtime
- Big animal lover, so happy to live with pets

What I'm looking for:

- Budget of up to £700 per month including bills
- Open to both short-term and long-term stays (minimum 3 months)
- Students or young professionals around a similar age
- A friendly and sociable household where people get on and make the place feel like home
- Parking and good motorway access would be a bonus, but aren't essential

The kind of house share I'm hoping for:

- Friendly, considerate, and easy-going housemates
- A household where people communicate well and respect shared spaces
- Somewhere that strikes a good balance between socialising and having your own space
- People who enjoy the occasional shared meal, film night, pub trip, or day out, rather than everyone simply living separate lives

As I'll be starting a degree apprenticeship, I'll have a stable income alongside my studies and am looking forward to settling into Cardiff, meeting new people, and making the most of the next few years.
