Looking For Single/Double Room 👋

Hi there! I’m a 27 year old American moving to London, and I'm looking for a single or double room for 6 months (w/ possibility to extend ideal). Primarily looking at the Battersea, Clapham, or Hackney Wick areas. July/August start preferred.

Since I'm new to the city, I would love a social household where flatmates are down to watch a movie, grab food, or head to the pub for a beer. If anyone is down to join a local sports league, even better! I’m a very social, chatty person but completely respect people's need for downtime and space.

I’ve spent the last 4 years working in advertising in the US. I recently decided to take a break to relocate, so while I'm currently between professional roles, I have plenty of savings set aside to comfortably cover my rent and expenses upfront. I plan to keep busy during the day working from local coffee shops or picking up some casual work while I get my feet on the ground.

When it comes to keeping a clean house, I'm incredibly mindful of shared spaces. I lived with the same roommate in the US for the last 6 years (and survived a couple of those years with no dishwasher, so I’m no stranger to rolling up my sleeves!). I’m more than happy to provide her as a reference if helpful.

In my free time...
You'll usually find me staying active - going to the gym, running, cycling, spending time outside in the park, playing in LGBTQ sports leagues, or exploring neighborhood bars.
