Friendly Scientist Looking for a Welcoming Home

Hi, I'm Sim!

I'm a 29-year-old postdoctoral research scientist and will be moving to London in late September to start a new role at one of the universities!

I'm a friendly, easy-going, and considerate housemate who enjoys keeping a clean and tidy home. Outside of work, you'll usually find me at the gym, bouldering, reading, watching TV, or exploring new cafés, restaurants, and bars around the city. I'll mainly be working in person five days a week, so home is very much a place for me to relax and unwind.

I'm looking for a room in a house or flat with people who enjoy a balance of socialising and personal space. I'd love to live somewhere where housemates are open to becoming friends rather than simply sharing a property—whether that's having dinner together, watching a series, grabbing a coffee, or occasionally exploring London together. Equally, I completely appreciate the need for downtime and alone time.

I'm hoping to find a welcoming, respectful household and would ideally like to move in around late September. If you think I might be a good fit, I'd love to hear from you!
