Queer, outdoorsy, keen cook, relocating to Bristol

Hi, I'm Katie (she/her), currently living in Warwickshire and looking to relocate to Bristol.

I'm a Programme Manager and former teacher, currently working for an education charity. I'm a friendly, easy-going person who enjoys good food and being active.

I work from home most of the time, with offices in Birmingham and London, that I'd continue to travel to every other month. I would like somewhere that I can work from home either in my room or a shared space. As I do like to be active, I'd likely spend at least one day a week working from a somewhere that's not the house.

I'm happiest when I'm outdoors. I love hiking, camping, cycling, travelling and generally seeking out new adventures. My summers are generally spent on cycling holidays or you'll find me joking up mountain. While I enjoy big adventures, I like to go at a slower-paced when cycling, taking in the scenery, stopping for coffee, and meeting interesting people along the way. Keen to find my communities within Bristol.

I also enjoy pilates, football and badminton, generally staying active. Music, gigs, festivals, the arts, and travel are all important parts of my life - always curious to share and enjoy these experiences with others too.

In my home setting, I value having a calm, clean, and tidy space to come back to. I'm respectful, considerate, and think it's important to look after shared spaces. I love cooking and often enjoy having friends round for dinner, trying new recipes, or sharing food with housemates. I enjoy socialising, and would like to have housemates who enjoy spending some time together but also feel comfortable retreating to our own space.

Ideally, I'm looking for a friendly, welcoming home where people enjoy the occasional chat, meal, or activity together, while also respecting each other's independence and downtime. More than just a room, I'm hoping to find somewhere that feels like home as I settle into Bristol.
