Grad student looking for room

Hi everyone,

I’m a 34-year-old American graduate student looking for a room in Glasgow from around 16 August 2026. I’ll be studying for an MSc in War Studies at the University of Glasgow and am hoping to find a place with an easy commute to campus.

A bit about me: I’m a graduate of Columbia University and New York University, and I previously served eight years in the United States Marine Corps. I’m quiet, clean, respectful of shared spaces, and understand the importance of personal privacy and being a considerate housemate. Most of my time will be spent studying, reading, running, or exploring Scotland.

I’m looking for a room for at least six months, though I’d also be open to a month-to-month arrangement if it’s a good fit. Ideally I’d like to move in as close to 16 August as possible.
