Postdoctoral researcher visiting at Napier

I am looking for a calm, quiet, and friendly place to stay near Napier University's Craiglockhart campus, where I’ll conduct my environmental research from October until January.

I’m clean, respectful, and genuinely easy to live with (I have lived in shared accommodations for many years, so I value high standards of cleanliness, organization, and respect)

I understand that, as an international scientific professional, I don't have a UK guarantor, and I’m fully prepared to pay the tenancy upfront to give you complete peace of mind.

Some personal info

I am very easygoing and love to socialize. I’m a 36-year-old father of a lovely child and 2 dogs (one was rescued and is paraplegic). I am good at the kitchen (Brazilian and Italian meals) and gardening (rainforest flowers mostly, but i’ll be happy to learn about Scottish nature :) ). My current hobbies are reading philosophy and poetry (a lot of Scottish ones), playing the piano, and going on nature hikes with my family.

Move-in: October 1st 2026
Move-out: End of January 2027
Budget: up to ￡1,500 per month
Double room for one person.
