Fringe couple seeking double room, 2/3–31 Aug

Hello! My partner and I are looking for a double room in Edinburgh for the Fringe, ideally from 2nd/3rd August until 31st August.

I’ll be performing/working around Bristo Square / George Square, so we’re especially interested in somewhere within walking distance or with reliable late-night transport, as we’ll often be returning around midnight or slightly later after shows.

We’re a respectful, tidy and considerate couple. We’re not looking for a party house — just a clean, calm base during the festival. We’re happy to live with friendly flatmates and will be mindful of noise, shared spaces and people’s routines.

My partner is a portrait and pet portrait artist, and one of her paintings is included in the photos. If suitable, we’d be open to discussing a bespoke painting — for example, of a pet, family member, or home — as part of a reduced-rent arrangement.

Ideally looking for a double room for a couple from 2nd/3rd August to 31st August, with good access to Bristo Square / George Square and late-night public transport or a walkable route. Bills included would be ideal.
