Maths & Physics Teacher - Very Large Double room

Hi everyone,

My name is Gabriele, I'm originally from Italy and I'll be starting work this September as a Mathematics and Physics teacher in North London, mainly around the Finsbury Park area.

I'm looking for a very large double room with a proper desk, plenty of space for my books and teaching materials, and a comfortable double bed. Ideally, I'd like to be within about 10 minutes' walk of a Victoria line station, with Seven Sisters or Tottenham Hale being my preferred locations.

I'd like to move in around 25 August, and I'm looking for a long-term home rather than a short-term stay.

My maximum budget is £850 per calendar month (including bills).

As a teacher, I've successfully completed all the checks required to work in UK schools, including an Enhanced DBS check, safeguarding training, identity verification and professional reference checks. You can therefore be confident that I'm a reliable, responsible and trustworthy tenant.

I'm quiet, respectful, tidy, a non-smoker, and I enjoy a peaceful home. Outside work, I'll mostly be preparing lessons, studying and reading, so I'm looking for a friendly, relaxed household.

One more thing that's very important to me: I'd love to be reunited with my cat, Sigmund, who you can see in my profile photo. He's currently being looked after by a dear friend in Italy. Sigmund is an exceptionally gentle, affectionate indoor cat—fully litter-trained, calm and well behaved. I know cat-friendly homes are uncommon, but if yours is one, I'd be especially delighted to hear from you. If not, I'd still be happy to hear about suitable rooms, as bringing him to the UK may happen later.
