Looking for room from Aug/Sep - Open to buddy up

Hi! I’m Evin, a 27-year-old young professional looking to move to London from 1st August (can hold off until September) for a new role in higher education, based in Canary Wharf. I’m also open to buddying up with like-minded people who are looking for a place together.

I’m hoping to find somewhere with good transport links into Canary Wharf, while also living in a neighbourhood with plenty of green space for running, great coffee shops, independent restaurants and a welcoming community feel. I’m open to areas across East, North and parts of South London, particularly Hackney, Kentish Town, Hampstead, Bethnal Green, Mile End, Greenwich, Highbury, Islington, Finsbury Park, Waterloo and Vauxhall, as well as nearby areas with good transport connections.

I’m friendly, easy-going and considerate, and I’m looking for a house that’s social, where people enjoy chatting, cooking together or grabbing a coffee or explore the city together while also respecting that everyone has their own routines and likes their own space. I’m clean, tidy and take pride in keeping shared spaces nice.

Outside of work I’m a keen runner and enjoy getting out to explore London’s parks and different neighbourhoods. I’m an Arsenal fan, I enjoy discovering independent cafés and restaurants, and have a creative side too. I’m currently writing my first novel, enjoy photography and visiting exhibitions and galleries, and I’d love living in a city where I can discover new creative hobbies and meet people with similar interests. I like making the most of where I live rather than just treating it as somewhere to sleep.

Ideally I’m looking for:

* Budget of around £700 - £1,000 per month (can be flexible for the right place)
* Move-in from 1st August
* Friendly, respectful housemates
* Also happy to buddy up with others looking for a place
